What eats the booty end out of a dead deer? Is it a skunk? When I shot a doe early in the year there was a skunk eating on her when I got to her. And he was somewhere close to her hole. It seems whenever you find a dead deer that's been there a day or 2 that it's Ahole is hollowed out.

The eyeballs and poopshoot are about the easiest places for them to get started tearing the hide away.

possums too. When I used to have and manage cows for folks, I've found dead ones before and you can tap on thier sides and possums will pop out! I guess thye climb up in there and eat their innards. Kind of weird to see one just pop out of there the first time.

Buzzards for sure. Buddy of mine shot a doe and watched a few buzzards drop down on her while she was still in the plot. Only dead for 45" or so. When he got down and retrieved her the buzzards had already torn the anus all to hell. She looked like a low rent porn star with her disfigured and dilated poopchute.

Those wilkerson co. buzzards are like pavlov's dogs. When they here a gun go off they come running!

Yea seeing a possum pop out of an animals booty is a sight to behold! Freaked me out first (and only) time I saw it. Except it just turned back around and went back into hiding. Weirddddd.

Its me, sorry. Its considered a delicacy in New Zealand. Kinda frowned upon here in the states but man is it chewy and full of flavor

I have seen hogs do it too if you have them around.
