Whatever happened with these guys? They were going hard before season getting people booked and advertising everywhere. Just seeing how they ended up for the year. Alot of their pictures are the old ones that always been on there.
Not starting anything. Just wondering how they did for the year in number of ducks killed and stuff.

A buddy and I hunted with Blake and Colby on 1/12. You'll remember that was right after the snow/ice storm. It hadn't gotten above freezing for three days, and it was 19 that morning. They put us on in a catfish pond blind, looking over the only open water within miles.
We had a fun hunt. We shot a mixed bag, and both got our limits. Ended up with mallards, ringnecks, GWT, and gadwalls. There were dozens on ruddies, but I passed on those little dookie dabblers.
Blake and Colby were cool to hang out with, they were professional, and they took care of things. Not everybody needs a guide. But for folks passing through with no time to scout or for a father wanting to show his kid a quality hunt, an outfit like DH would be a good option.

To answer the original posters questions we killed 1276 birds and guided 101 folks this past season. We shot on some of the hunts as well.
We are looking at land to lease in the same general ares as last year and will be open for booking in the next month or so. We had a great turnout and had many happy customers. We had a great season, met a lot of great folks, and hope to do it again next year!

Thank you very much for the compliments and we will be in touch soon to try and set a date for next year! We enjoyed the hunt as well and hope to do it again!

hunted with the guys first full week in jan. We had a party of 7 i think it was. has a few guys never fired a shot at ducks until that week. we killed mallards gadwall and a few shovelors on rice fields. and we let the guys who never duck hunted before go to some ponds so they could get in on a lot of shooting. they killed some mallards, buffleheads, blue bills, shovelor, gadwall, ruddies, and some other ducks. oh even had the opportunity to shoot specs
Both Colby and Blake were great guys and did everything they could to put us on ducks. They were honest and upfront in there assessments of where the best opportunities were to kill ducks. at the end of day 1 Colby showed us our options for the hunts on day 2 and let us decide what kind of hunt we would like to try. wether catfish ponds for divers, or several different rice field options.
They even cleaned all the ducks which was like 60 something in 2 days.

Great for all that enjoyed it. Thats all I wanted to know was how they ended up for their 1st season. Seems better then some of the other guide services I've seen.
Good luck next season guys!

Does not matter. When someone ask about an outfitter on here, be prepared to hear it all!

Why did they throw a fit when their limit was taken? Thats what I am curious about.
