If you go to MO hunt the public land. We take a group every year and have a ball. They have the prettiest public land you've ever seen and if you are planning to bow hunt, there won't be any pressure at all on the place. It's unreal how that state manages and keeps up their public ground for the people to enjoy.

I'll dispute that "won't be any pressure" comment. They do have some of the prettiest public land, and it's covered up with deer, but me and 2 of my buddies bow hunted some North MO public land and there were people everywhere. We had people coming in on top of us almost every hunt. Anyways, the outfitter Ramsey Russell books turkey and duck hunts for in OK has some great deer hunting as well. Hit Ramsey up for the info.
