i don't normally do stuff like this and i probably shouldn't now......but, when someone goes the extra mile to help you out, i believe it's worth a minute or 2 to make sure they know you appreciate them.

last night bathing, Lila (16 month old daughter) slipped and chipped her tooth on the tub. Needless to say, Megan (wife) was upset, Lila was crying, etc etc......and, i was still at the hospital working.

I call up my buddy duckoholic and get bonehead's number.....i call up mayette - who's just getting home to his own family by the way - and tell him the situation............he's never met me, but turned right back around and met megan and lila to take a look at her teeth......as parents, we both needed some peace of mind.

micah - thanks for this place......i know it's more headaches than it's worth sometimes, but this place has been there when other folks have needed it.......from prayers to mechanics. in fact, when something needs doing, megan asks me "have you asked the board yet"...............cause she knows i ain't got a clue

I agree that it is a unique dynamic around here. Cool how a board like this can sort of bring a group of like-minded people together. I was glad to check on her and honored that you guys trusted me enough to do it. A pleasure to meet your family....just hate they were under duress.

Well Justin. It wasn't too long ago you took time from your day off to visit a fellow msducker and his sick little boy at the hospital. Many others from this site dropped by when Griff was diagnosed. I'll never foget that.

Bonehead, I decided on FKG-G11. How long does it typically take for the installation? I just had my teeth cleaned Tuesday so we can skip that step.

This board has helped in many ways. Fellow MSDuckers showed up to help cut up and clear a tree that fell on my house and helped put a tarp over the hole some years back. Questions answered when needed and my wife too says,"Ask the guys on the duck site." Thanks Micah and Mods. for everything you do to keep it going!

Thats one thing about this board I have seen over and over again. Someone on here is willing to help someone else out for nothing. Prayers asked for, done. Help needed with a vehicle, hell we have all either fixed it or have a distant cousin we once saw fix something like that, done. Questions about guns and everything else, someone is will to help.

Need help finding a place to hunt, I wont go there. That dang STAY HOME little girl gets fired up!

2 Things that have stuck out to me the most since I been on here.
How alot of people stepped up for a little man named Griff. Had to of meant the world to that family and little guy. Hope he gets stronger from all that

When David passed away. How everyone jumped up to help patrick and heather. Alot of people did things they were not expected to or didnt have to do. But they did from their hearts. All the donations and things done for Patrick. Hope they are doing better and everything also.

Heather and Patrick are up in Arkie land for the David Spairs Memorial MSDucks Snow Goose Hunt. She got up there this Afternoon. All proceeds go to Patrick's education fund! Way to go Adam L. and Bayou DeView Outfitters!
