Has got to be the most out of shape and laziest college basketball player ever.

Commentator for ESPN last night said during the pre-game "shootaround", Sidney never laced his shoes. Just a walk in the park for him I guess.

I am as down on the Bulldogs as anyone. I am even more sick of every announcer out there spending 30 minutes of gametime dissing every player we put on the court, though. We were 20-pt 'dogs that led most of the game, and all they could talk about was how dumb our coach was, how fat one player was, and how skinny another was. Am I wrong to want a little more respect from the Worldwide Leader.

I agree that the announcers go overboard. It is not just with state though. Seems pretty much all sportscasters love to beat a dead horse. I miss the great anouncers like Keith Jackson.

The announcers seem to really like Dee Bost, regardless of their opinions regarding the other players. However, there is at least one announcer that always refers to Dee Bost as "Deebost", with no break between his first and last name, making his name sound Russian. But, that strange pronunciation does kinda go well with Benock, whose name could be Russian (or at least sounds a little foreign). I thought the Russian national team had kidnapped the MSU squad one night while watching the Dogs in action.

This MSU basketball team has created quite a bit of soap opera type drama this season. So, I suppose the announcers just cannot resist rehashing the events for those at home who may not keep up with the Dogs and could be watching them for the first time. The Rebs had a similar season the year when Kennedy was arrested for the altercation with the cab driver. I was so "proud" of him for that, and really enjoyed hearing about it every time the Rebs were on tv that season. With 24 hour sports news coverage, I suppose this off-the-court aspect of the coverage just goes with the territory.

lol, you would have thought they had one with some of the players Stansbury has had during his tenure. Maybe they were just overachievers and worked out on their own. Something ain't right now.
