DirectTV vs Dish Network

Postby brandon327 » Sun Feb 20, 2011 7:20 pm

I currently have Direct Tv but i can not get local Channels. I am considering switching to Dish Network b/c i can get local Channels with them. What are the pros and cons of dish network? I really don't want to switch but i guess i am left with no choice if i want locals.

You can always use the old rabbit ears for the locals. I did get a letter from direc last week that the locals would be available soon, but I have not had them in so long I could care less <
Really don't want them just cause when the MX race comes on at 11:00 SUN, church will be on instead, or sears sideing, some telathon etc;
Not that anything is wrong with church!! haha

you can catch your locals free in HD with an antenna.

www.antennaweb.org to see what local are available in your area and what type antenna it will take to catch them.

Yeah directv will give people in most areas local channels but not in Jasper Co. You can get them in Smith Co. I only live a few miles from the line but they will not give them to me.

There is not anything dry about Jasper Co. You just got know where to get it. You can get beer at any convience store. Liquor you have to go to Rose Hill to the liquor store in what they consider a "resort area" because of Lake Claude Bennet
