I hate it when I get a spear point in my pickup tire.

Benny,

Have been collecting a few times around my home town of Tallulah, Louisiana and Richmond, Louisiana. Have found some muskets, coins, buttons, backpack hooks and some pottery. My buddy that I went with moved and I am in Baton Rouge so don't get to go much anymore. My uncle had a farm around Waterproof, LA and he found tons of arrowheads, I even found a few. Would love to go again.

my dad used to find arrowheads all the time when he worked on the farm.
he got big time lucky once. he was going to move a "brick" and it turned out to be some kind of digging tool. it is about 8" long and 4" wide and flat. on one end it comes to a point and the other end is rounded and shiny one one side. the archelogical(sp) park in parkin has tried to get him to let them "borrow" it several times and he has had many offers to sell it.
kev.
