I haven't been but I was wondering the same thing...See tons of folks there every morning at evening when I cross the spillway on my way to work...I've seen some folks pull some fish out of the water one day when I was watching, but I'm not sure what they were catching...

Went down there yesterday at lunch, and watched some good slabs get pulled out. It just makes me jealous that I can't take off work to go get them myself.
You could probably still catch them this weekend, but I don't know the water is falling fast. If I could go this weekend, I'd be either there or on the main lake somewhere looking for them.

The water is on the fast fall. 2 co workers of mine went yesterday and caught 3, it's been slow. Not sure what the deal is. I'm trying to leave early tomorrow to try it but I don't know. I went last Friday and caught 2.

It's not like it's normal self where you can pull em in as fast as you drop a jig.

Had a buddy bring pretty good stringers of fish in from the upper main lake both Tuesday and Wednesday.

I caught 15 slabs on the Rankin side Sunday. I went back Wednesday at lunch and two of us caught 40 or so. We kept 35 slabs. These were also caught on the Rankin side up in the ditch.

I'm gettin a report this afternoon, the solenoid went bad last night.

update - Friday 2 gates were open and it was slow most all over. My buddy did get hooked up frequently at about 3 and wound up with 15 nice slabs. He had a withe and silver jighead with a small minnow. I think you had to be in one particular spot.

I was down there on Friday from 9 til 2 and caught 12 or so. Half of them were good slabs, but it was slow. I was down river a little bit and no one was really pulling them out.

Fished hard there all weekend. Caught 4 Sat and 5 Sunday. Watched 7 boats in one hole Sunday all get limits. I asked them what time they got out to get that hole and they said 1:30 am. The water is falling real fast and all the fish I caught were in the drop offs on the north side of the river by the baot ramp. Solid pink jig in the early hours and then a red and chartruese later in the day.

were them 7 boats in Pelahatchie Creek Sunday, buddy of mine said they went at 2:30 AM and limited out several times over. I didn't get out there until after 10AM, me and my buddy ended up keeping 40 nice'uns, about 7 I would consider slabs. At least a car-tag and a half. We through about dozen beans back, but they probably would of ate alright.

Stocking Foot 1 I had the same color at the same depth about 6 foot away and couldn't get in to them. They were staying in that one spot.
