I want one how much we talking about 1500-2000?

That gun is borderline. Three recoil reduction mechanisms? Really. Who has ever stopped duckin because the recoil was too bad? If you cant get your six before recoil becomes an issue then you need to stay at the house. Too many bells and whistles and the tag wil be a bit high

guys I sell this gun at my store and loved them til...... three of them have had choke tube problems.... they switched from opti + choke tubes(what has been in the extrema 2 for years) to the opti hp a new design.... I had a customer patterning his gun for turkey season using the factory full the third shot something went wrong with the gun. He did know what happened. He brought it to me to look at. The bolt would not close and rotate completely. I dissassembled the gun and found the gas piston out of its correct place under the forearm. I put it all back together cleaned it up then ran a brl wand to clean the brl.... it would not go thru the end. I took off the brl and looked where the tube is.... the choke tube was folded up like a beer can where the threads started. I promptly sent the gun to beretta for inspection.... they took out the tube rethreaded the brl put a new tube in sent it to us and in the note said to always check to make sure tube is all the way in place....WTF....guys this is my job ...i work retail hunting.... the tube was all the way in ... I LOVE EXTREMA 2"s but there will be many more tube issues with the A400 exploeres.... I have the sales manager from beretta in my store in two weeks i'm saving it to show him......

Better get use to em! They replacing the Extrema 2 with em!

I had this exact same thing not 3 weeks ago on a brand new Extrema 2 out of the box! Something is going on up there!

so are these problems happening with the A400 xplore or the A400 extreme, because I just bought an A400 xplore w/ kick off for my dad TODAY

Too many moving parts in my opinion. What gonna have in 3 to 5 years after its been in the water, mud, boat, 4-wheeler, etc? We all know how the delta mud and water can find it way into places you wouldn't think possible. I take care of my equipment and keep my gun clean, but I dont think you can stop the abuse of duck hunting from tearing up that gun quickly...

What? This gun has less moving parts than any other semi auto on the market! You take of this gun and it should last a lifetime unless you constantly pounding it with 3.5 heavy loads. Won't NONE of em hold up to that! Not even the old faithful 870! They'll come apart after about 16 to 17 cases shot thru em!

I'm pretty sure my extrema I has less parts. I'm including the recoil system in then stock when I say "parts" but I'm no shotgun guy.

Actually when you take em apart they look almost identicle. But the A400 does have less moving parts. Only 5! Can be field stripped in about a minute! Kepping my fingers crossed on it that it will be better than the extrema 2. Can't be much worse!

Dont get me wrong, its an awesome gun, but it doesn't look like it will last...I'm talking about with all the recoil reducers all over the stock, you also have the action, new and different choke system, plus the overmolded grips always seem to peel or seperate.

I don't shoot 3.5.

I hope I'm wrong, but that's my initial opinion and im sticking with it. I love beretta. I've been duck hunting with the same beretta for over 12 years with very little trouble out of it!
