Hey guys, there is a family over here that could use all the prayer they can get.

My partner and I saw a 16 month old little boy Monday. Turns out he had a very large tumor in one of his eyes called a retinoblastoma. The first case I've seen in 17 years of practice. Prognosis is quite poor. He will more than likely have to have the eye surgically removed then undergo radiation treatments. As you can imagine the family is reeling and in total shock. Telling the mother the news was one of the most gut-wrenching things I've ever done.

Please lift up "John" (not his real name) and his family. He has a long road ahead of him. Thanks.

Just re-read this and just wanted you to know that I DID take time out for a prayer. Hope you were assuming that's what I meant anyway. Updates?
