Have 14 month old male lab coming home from trainer----George Henry , trainer with Timber Creek Retrievers-----He is completely force fetched------What does the dog have to know/do to get his started title? Upcoming hunt test to enter him in?

Call George and ask if the dog is ready. He won't steer you wrong.

Started test, 2 single marks on land no more then 75 yds , 2 singe water marks no more than 60 yds. Does not need to deliver to hand but to the imediate area. But deliver to hand is better.
You need to pass 4 different days, all 4 marks to earn the SHR title. But only 10 points go toward you next level.

Find a training group in your area to help you keep your pup tuned up and growing - this board is an excellent place to make those contacts, you won't find better people anywhere.
