Hattie is my 18 week old Golden. She had her a big time on the dove field this weekend. By Sunday afternoon she had the whole thing figured out. Did anyone else take their pup out for their first hunt this weekend? Please share.

It's hard to video and dove hunt at the same time, so this only shows her coming back with the bird. This was the first retrieve that she did without me having to walk out with her.

Here is one from last year about this time. My pup had just turned 7 weeks old. I had picked him up at 6 weeks. I walked out to the field and winged a dove. Wanted to see what he would do.
