Japanese Millet
I planted japanese millet about three weeks ago and it is up about 6 inches. I was wondering if i should fertilize and if so what kind of fertilizer is best for millet. I would like to get it fertilized before the chance of rain toward the end of the week. Thanks.
Re: Japanese Millet
I don't know what the best will be but I just used some triple 13 from Wally world and it jumped a good bit over 2 week period already headed out and looking good just waiting on Milo to head before I start to flood
Wait wait!! Dam* shouldve shot them
Re: Japanese Millet
Drake,
IMO, I would go with straight Amm Nit this late in the game. You need a quick burst of growth before the first frost of the year. I may be wrong and maybe someone else could give you (and me) some insite.

Fertilizer can prolong maturity. If you are racing against first frost date, I would skip the fertilizer.
Are we gonna get wet?
