I'd Like to add that I'm stationed at fort Campbell, and driving to reelfoot from here, I will be taking my 16 and 14 year old boys, if anyone needs more shooters or wants to link up that'd be great. Our current plan is to camp up there somewhere. If interested give me a shout @ 9314367076

Have you ever hunted up there before?
I have hunted there several times, if you need some pointers. Main thing, don't get too close to someone's blind. Also, camping is your best bet. You will see numerous people spending the night out there. Any more questions, pm me.

Trapper, if you are a member on the refugeforums go find the_natural. He can give you all of the ins and outs of reelfoot. Like several have said, watch your toes up there and be safe.
Good luck

I thought I saw a ghost, ole marion posting up in here! Like others have said, watch yourself up there, plenty of good folks but all are very protective of their hunting spots. Hell, its no different than any other public place, pretty magical in the right setting though, marion fd can tell ya!

Water level is bad low again or at this point in the year. That place is hell for stumps, stobs unless you know where you are going and don't get in the water. It maybe 3ft deep but the mud or slit is unreal and is a nightmare if you get in.
