Jap has matured but browntop still needs some time. Will a light frost for a few hours totally keep seeds from further maturation?

I hope not in the same situation planted my Milo a little late this year it's still tring though millet turned out good already headed and seed just hoping the frost won't stop the milo

I am guessing that we just need another 7-10 days, planted on August 13 but probably didnt "take" until a week or so later. If we make it thru this cold front we should be fine.
