Drove 1562 miles this weekend just for 3 days of this in Tx.....








Me and a buddy of mine shot a limit of red heads and pintails everyday. And had flocks of springs of 100-150 landing in the spread. I got a bunch of Video I got to get off my phone I'll try and post up toninght.

That sho looks great. Can't get better than that.

We going back in Jan...... For the most part the Red heads wasn't in full ploom this time so we where doing our best to try to shoot only ploom drakes and the bigger sprigs but the real bull sprigs always seem to get the slip out and you may have flocks of 35+ pintails in a flock and there wouldn't be but 1 or 2 bulls if that to 5 or so more drakes then the rest where all hens to a flock so it made it tough on us getting the trophy birds but come Jan there will be 5+ bulls to a flock. Only down fall then is they going to come in smaller flocks and want work as good as what they do durning this time of the yr.

Then in Jan also the chances of bands and a making the ole lady mad for adding more birds to the collection of mounted things increase greatly.

that's so awesome... we don't get too many of them over here in western Arkansas... more Mallards and woodies...
