+1 I don't hunt public waters very often, but can underrstand how frustrating it could be with all the information posted on this site and others.....Maybe other sites will follow Micah's lead.

I just got an e-mail about being selected for a draw hunt. I was going to ask a few questions about unmentioned WMA. Is that against the new policy, Mr. Moderators. I am serious. Fist time I applied and i got a good date!

I understand but we are talking about " public" hunting.....Not trying to start anything but hey its open to who ever wants to hunt there. I grew up hunting that lake up in the delta....My uncle lived there almost his hole life. And it will never be what it was....Just saying

duckhntr: Talking about PUBLIC hunting on a PUBLIC forum where ANYONE can read it and ANYONE can "scout" without so much as a drop of fuel in their tank, or one step on the actual land is not good.

Whether it clicks with you or not, people who work hard and put in the extra effort to scout and know which places to hunt and when to hunt them are put at an extreme disadvantage when that information is broadcast for everyone from here to Great Britain to see.

It's a fantastic policy and in my opinion it's not a second too soon.

Pretty harsh but for the most part I agree. I used to hunt a few public places for about 10 yrs until I was too discouraged to go back to them after yahoos would ruin it. Had 3 friends and myself kill our limit one morning in a public spot closest another group was from us was prob half mile. The very next day I swear to you I counted 30 people within shooting distance. Gathered my gear and left. Haven't been back since. That was 3yrs ago
