WOW, that is crazy. I am beginning to think there is some hybrid delks out there. Look at the mass and tine length..

Given natural habitat they just dont grow that big....folks are growing deer that big these days with all the protein and such they are feeding....jmo

Maybe some people Rick, but others are just growing them by not being a redneck and shooting every 2-3 year old basket rack. And I'm not saying that's what you are doing, just saying. I know you shoot mature deer. It's all about the area to me. Some places can grow them and some places don't. Take Port Gibson for example. I know places down there that consistantly shoot huge deer year in and year out without feeding and other places not a stones throw away that can't grow a PY.

Ya right on all ponts but on a whole i think there are alot of places that are GROWIN big deer that would never have them that big in volume without the protein sups.....dont remember they bio's name but he said in a seminar I went to at a camp yrs ago that a deer in the south 150+ was freak of nature... now that may have been true bout the area...granted its not bout the size of the horns but being a mature deer is the main thing ...lord knows i have been that goodoleboyredneckstackemhigh in my days in the past...lol
