Draw Hunt Canceled

Well this sucks! I had a draw hunt on one of the WMA's and got a call and was told it was canceled and I was told I would not get a refund! Whats the deal with this, that means that everyone paid 5 dollars for nothing. I have no problem paying 5 dollars to put in for the draw, but if they tell you that you cant even come on your hunt then I think something aught to be done to make up for that!

Why ya wanna hunt if there's no water? Sounds like they're savin ya a trip.
I guess you could go anyway, sounds like nobody will be there.

While I understand your angst...try to think of it as $5 for the dux...be thankfull for the call

That 5 dollars would have gone alot further "for the ducks" if it would have gone to DU. Its not about how much money it is, but yes I was thankful for the call!

I had a buddy of mine get drawn for a hunt. 2 weeks before hand he got that very same call. He asked the person if they would give him their name and number so he could call back. They wouldn't do it, so he called mr polles up to make sure he wasn't being lied to. Come to find out he was in fact being lied to. Draw was still open for him to hunt. Made us think that either someone over at mdwfp is getting the draw info and using it for himself or their draw information was hacked.
Sorry for the rant.That happened 3 or 4 years ago. I'd call em back and make sure it's canceled.
