Re: Pheasant recommendations
I hunt Nebraska every year and up to 2011 the hunting was unbelivable. I have afriend who owns a ranch out there so we spend a week deer and phesant hunting. In 2011 the birds would have rivaled any high dollar outfitter in the nation. Hes got a river that has CRP on each side and after deer hunting ...

Re: Cabelas vortex

Everyone on here wants everyone else to know that they are such great hunters, that they would never dream of even considering what one of these contraptions may do for their hunting. I think they are a little much myself, but god forbid if I ask if anyone has ever had any ...

Anyone ever hunted with one before. Looks like a giant hassle, but looks like it would give the spread a unique look, looks like it would work?

Lawrence KS is about 45 min away. KU has a beautiful campus and if you like basketball, Phog Allen Fieldhouse is a must see, its the holy grail of basketball. Good bars and food in Lawrence too.

G&H. Get some spoonie decoys, they make the spread look legit, and the white breast is very visible.

Elaborate on the shadows. Wouldn't a proper blind create a shadow with in it to conceal you?

Re: Sled Blind advice
Have you entertained the though of pulling the sled blind to the edge of one side of the field? You could dig out the spot a little bit to create a lower profile for your sled blind... Being on the bank you could cover it with fast grass and natural bank veg... Just food for thought...

Sled Blind advice
Any one got any suggestions on the best way to cover up a sled (sits 4-5 guys) out in the middle of a bean field. It goes with out saying that it will stand out but just curious how some of you deal with covering it up. I have been looking at buying grass or some other sort of blind material as a ...
