Re: Lefty-youth?

Escort is what my son has been using the last 4 years. Lefty version, gas operated, 22 inch bbl. Been a good gun for us.. I would likely say to stay away from an 870 or O/U (depends on her age/size) Feel free to msg me if you want to know more..

Re: Browning question

I have one. Hood does not come off. Doesn't seem to get in the way too bad though.

Memphis BBQ Co is good stuff! I would definitely recommend eating there.
Haven't been to the Cafe, so can't help you there...

Re: gun problem

Have you cleaned the gas ports under the barrel ring? As far as the gas piston, get to scrubbing with some Hoppes #9. Also, check the magazine spring. It may be broken or very gunked up also.

[quote="ransco33"]Check out Dowdle Sports in Memphrica. Their website shows that they have some in stock. I'd be interested to know if they actually have them myself.

Dowdle does not have any. I checked with them a while back. That is there old website that comes up when you search Mcalister.

Re: Recommendations on Spec Calls

If you want something different that sounds great, I can put you in touch with a guy in NE AR making a custom speck call. Brass guts in either black micarta or corian barrel and insert. I have one on the lanyard this year. It's as good as the leaders in this group of calls.

Is his last name ...
