No i faired pretty well with the hurricane. Minimal damage on my house and some on my business but nothing we can’t deal with. Was luckier than most around here.
Camp was good to go down in Venice, being on the East bank of the river saved our ass this go around. Water came up in the camp yard but ...

Yea, but that same battery doesn't fit your drill, impact, table saw, dual bevel compound miter saw, backpack drain snake, band saw, stand light, orbital sander, or rotary hammer.

Re: Present day roll call
Who the flock is Rob Croom? What is/was his handle on here? Is he some fan boy of Rocky's or something? Never heard of him before. There are a lot of dudes on the FB page that hang on everything he says.
Vickers not sure if he was on here prior to the FB switch but when I saw him I recognized him ...

Red eye get her to Lantrip before he comes down south to hunt in the marsh with me. I think we hunted over it last year or the year before, I can’t remember anymore. Anyway good to see everybody still lurking around this place. Just kind of nice to not have every swinging diock on Facebook around to ...

Re: Have any of you camped on Cat Island?
Well the difference is, do you want to catch fish, or just go out and experience the get away. Last island, wine island, east and west timbalier are all great fishing islands with plenty of water between you and land. You will greatly increase your chances of catching fish at those places over cat ...

Re: Have any of you camped on Cat Island?
We use to camp on last island plenty when I was a kid. Same concept different area. Yes skeeters can get bad but we usually didn't sleep much. Set up tent before dark, then ate and gigged flounder for a few hours. Then usually fished under some lights next to a well head. Specks and white trout till ...

Re: Copperhead motors....
A few ways to do it. Like said above you can take a ratchet strap and go from trailer and make one wrap around handle, then back to other side of trailer and ratchet tight. Will go up and down just s little and won't go to either side. If you don't want it to bounce a little then take a 2x4 block of ...

Re: LSU's Cannizaro headed to MSU to replace AD Cohen
He is legit. Was thought to be our next coach in waiting. I was kind of hoping LSU would sweeten the pot a little for him and make him stay. He will do well if y'all can get over where he came from.

Re: Permanent Blind Setting 4x4 Pilings
From your first post you say total of 3 feet before you stop sinking. And you are hunting a slough which I would imagine has trees throughout it. Why not just everybody grab a tree or stand in the buck brush, hang your stuff on limbs and kill ducks. Much less work, produce same results, and you ...
