Postby mossyisland » Mon Jul 20, 2015 9:58 am

What dealer usually has the best deals and when is the best time to buy a new machine?

Really depends on what make you are looking for. Deere has a few specials now, but will amp that up in the next 2 months.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I was wondering if any of you have looked at the new Pioneer 1000. Looks like Honda has made some serious improvements. Anyone have any inside on what they will cost and when they will be at the dealers?

Yeah.....I have read all of that and I have a pioneer 700 that someone wants to buy and would like to move to the 1000, but my problem with the 700 is the knee room. If the 1000 is no different then I wouldn't be doing anything more than spending a chunk of money. The pioneer has less knee room than the Big Red and I didn't think it would be a big difference in comfort, but it is if you are 6'5". Guess I will wait til they come out and go look at one.

Update: Guys I called around yesterday and the best prices I found were at shoals outdoors. They were about 2 grand cheaper on all machines.

Just remember that MS will come back on you for the sales tax if they audit their books. A lot of peeps found that out buying bikes out of state.

And your looking at at least a 500 mile, 7+ hour round trip. How much is that worth to you.

not sure how it compares to rhino, but if i'm going to be behind the wheel of rhino for any length of time i sit on a fat gel pad (like used for turkey hunting) to get a lil bit more leg room. it isn't much, but every lil bit helps @ a bulky 6'3".
