I wonder how they would do in some thick grass or mud. Every video of them I've seen shows them running in open water.

Looks like something you'll be trying to unwrap from around a cypress knee. Backwaterinc is the only company who has gotten the dom tube frames right. And the transom bracket on those twister frames is chicken sheet.
