+1.

The natural vegetation + larger placements of branches and small trees stuck in the mud will do wonders to break up the profile of the blind. Strap some large branches and small saplings straight to the blind then feather them out into the field. The elbow grease is gonna be thick.

On one of the Duck Commander videos he commented that a blind was properly brushed when you had to shoot your way out of it....I think he also had his jerk string doubled up as a trotline. Can't say I'm a fan of the guy but he does have a point about the thick brushing.

Best blinds I never saw were like this.

Buddy of mine parked a sled blind on the edge of a kudzu patch during the summer. Left it there for a couple months. Took about ten minutes with a machete just to get it free. Once the kudzu dried out and turned brown it looked awesome.

My advice is to not leave the blind in the middle of the field when not in use. Try and drag them out or at least drag them to the edge of the water. I've used them with great success for years, they stick out like a sore thumb but we move them around every time and they work great. I like to take a piece of burlap and put it on the inside of the blind first. Just makes it a little harder for the ducks to see through the blind.

My favorite natural camo is big thatches of coffee weed and willow, very durable. We conceal the front so you have to stand up and shoot through the brush.

Good luck.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day

and THAT is a duck hunt.

I have done that with pre-cut sections of wire or cattle panels.
Drive two t post in the ground and attach panels or sections of wire to it. Do this on a ditchbank in the area you will hunt. Let vines, grasses, etc grow up thru it. Unhook from tpost and lay on ground. Cut the vegetation at ground level. Place on you skid blind or put tpost at a 45 degree angle front and back to lay wire frame to...............hunker down on a 5 gallon bucket and hunt.
Poor man's skid blind!!!!!!!!!!!!
