Thanks Everyone! I know this, I did not misplace the lanyard, I asked my son again today if he knew where it was, he walks to the Deer head where I usually keep it and then goes to my truck and says it's there, I open it up and he just stares and asks where it went to. He walked in a little while ago when I was placing the new dog whistle on the lanyard and all he wants to know is where the "duck whistles" went. I have turned the house and truck upside down along with the place we use for training beside the house and sadly no lanyard. Think I am gonna chalk this one up to a lesson learned and keep an eye out for the bands on ebay. Never used the site before, guess I am gonna have to learn. Ya'll keep your TRUCKS LOCKED especially in Yazoo County!!!

I don't have any bands to be stolen.......yet! But when I was in college I had to drop my jeep off at the dealership for a few days to have some body work done on it and the glass replaced from hitting a deer and like an idiot I left my lanyard on the floorboard. The dealer was taking a long time with it so I decided to pick it up after the body work was done and have them call me when the glass guys could come in and fix the windshield. So a few days later I dropped it off, the glass guys took it back to their shop and when I got it back I was missing a call off of my lanyard. I know that one of the glass guys stole it, I know the service manager at the dealership well and he knows my dad for a long time too. I told him about it and he was as pissed as I was, offered to have the dealership pay for a new call but it was not the call as much as the principal of the matter. It was only a 25 dollar roy rhodes poly call and easy to replace, I can only imagine how pizzed you are right now! I don't keep my calls in my truck after that and when I do I don't display them. A friend of mine had his glass busted out of his truck and his lanyard, calls and bands were the only thing stolen also, and that happened on campus.

Yep that stinks, I really don't expect less from people today. That is why I don't wear bands on my lanyard.

Maybe just maybe you'll find them and they were not taken. I sure hope so.

Good luck.
