you handled it very well. Much better than I would have. I can understand if they did not mean to do what they did but from what you say that might as well have flipped you off walking down the bank.

their boat would have had the plug pulled and been adrift when they got back down the ramp.

Sure would be silly to get shot over something as trivial as a boat blocking your way wouldn't it? There are alot of crazy people out there today. Just be a grown up and let it go, it's not worth the conflict to
teach someone some manners.

Yeah, I guess you're right.......I guess I'd leave the plug in.

I wouldn't advocate getting even by destroying someone's personal property - like slashing tires - that's pretty chicken-$#!+, to me. You have to be a little more subtle than that.

Before pulling the plug the proper thing to do would be piss in their gas tank and pull a couple plug wires off thier motor. . .

That ramp sounds vaguely familiar and I have had the same experience with a commercial fisherman that left his truck parked on the side of the ramp when we came back in. Almost took off his mirror getting out.

My wife always backs the trailer down the ramp.....usually in the dark, mind you. 8)

If somebody's in the way, she hollers-out......"y'all might want to stand back a little bit - I haven't quite got the hang of backing this trailer, yet."

Just the sound of a woman's voice saying something like that is enough to make folks grap their dog and run for the nearest tree, but they usually waste no time getting their trucks, boats, .....anything of value......outa her way. 'Works every time.

After seeing there set-up, and knowing you could catchem, i would have spouted some smart remark to them when he walked by, like "HEY BOY, THAT KINDA CRAP WILL COME BACK AROUND AND BITE YOU IN THE BUTT AROUND HERE", that would have made passing them a hole lot funner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JD, wishing he had a 90 hp on his 18' boat!

What I didn't tell you is - if there's a inch of spare room at the ramp, and she thinks you shoulda moved over a little bit, my wife will get that trailer in there..........she delights in the reaction she gets, when folks don't know whether she should be taken seriously or not.

I was barely taking up space at ramp..... your blowing it way out of proportion.
